Proven Framework

Kendriya Vidyalaya Basic Teacher Training for 1,404 teachers conducted for 864 PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalayas from 3 February 2025 to 27 June 2025.

Nationwide Impact

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan STEM and ADVANCE Teacher Training aligned with the vision of NEP 2020 and NCF 2023 proposes a nationwide capacity-building initiative to strengthen education through the effective utilization of emerging technologies.

The initiative targets comprehensive STEM and Advanced-level Training for a total of 4,224 teachers from 913 PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalayas across India. This program is implemented by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan in collaboration with IHFC (TIH of IIT Delhi).

Seven core components designed to transform teaching methodologies and enhance digital competencies.

AI-Powered Lesson Planning

Introduction to AI tools like Medha AI, ChatGPT, Perplexity AI, and Eduaide for generating NEP/NCF-aligned lesson plans, personalized content, and remedial lesson planning.

Tech-Integrated Pedagogy

Subject-specific digital tools: PhET Simulations for Physics, molecule visualization for Chemistry, BioDigital Human for Biology, and Desmos/GeoGebra for Mathematics.

21st-Century Assessment Tools

Shift from rote testing to competency-based assessments using Google Forms with AI scoring, Quizizz, Kahoot!, Mentimeter, and Edulastic for interactive, diagnostic evaluations.

ATL/STEM Lab Integration

Empower teachers to engage students with ATL resources including low-cost tinkering kits, open-source robotics (Tinkercad, Arduino IDE), and 3D modeling for prototyping.

Smartboards & Digital Teaching Aids

Master tools like Canva for Education, Genially, Google Jamboard, OBS Studio, and Loom for creating visual-rich presentations and recording explainer videos.

AI Ethics & Digital Citizenship

Explore ethical implications of AI in classrooms, student privacy, digital safety, responsible content sourcing, and authenticity verification through case studies and best practices.

Scientific Exposure

Guided exposure visits to local innovation centers, industry labs, or university departments to connect textbook science to industrial applications and future careers.
